Cardiff City manager has fropped Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink for today’s match against Hull City. Steve MacLean replaces the former Chelsea marksman.
Hasselbaink has struggled for impact in recent weeks and looked off colour in the 0-0 draw against Leicester City. Although he made a few deft touches and went close with a swirling free-kick, far too many passes were misplaced.
MacLean impressed pre-season and started the season in the first team, but the arrival of Hasselbaink and Fowler, along with a knee injury kept MacLean out – the former Sheffield Wednesday striker will be looking for a telling contribution today.
The rest of the Cardiff City side remains unchanged with Aaron Ramsey on the bench.

A good decision for me, but I’d rather see McNaughton in there for Capaldi – like most others judging by the poll…!
