Cardiff City are eyeing up a loan move for Liverpool’s young French midfielder Damien Plessis. We have yet to strengthen our midfield, despite a disappointing showing from that department last season.
Plessis is a tough tackling young player, and is highly rated at Anfield. However, he needs first team games and boss Rafa Benitez could be persuaded to agree a loan deal.
The 21 year old has represented France at every youth level and offers a strong holding presence in the centre of midfield.

I hope we sign plessis, he really is a great player.. im not to fazed if parry or mcphail leave but please give whittingham a chance he is not so old and is capable of great things.. you dont get chosen in england u21 for nothing…
Plessis does sound promising, interesting that Liverpool fans think he needs to ‘toughen up’ though – Championship is probably slightly more physical than Prem?
