Cardiff City have opted against extending Trevor Sinclair’s stay at Ninian Park after a mixed year for the former England International.
Trev settled better than Fowler and Hasselbaink, and was able to make an impact early on with some excellent passing and link up play. However, a knee injury dealt a serious blow to Sinclair and despite recovering towards the end of the season, he was unable to regain his starting place and he was limited to a bit-part role from the bench.
Now, Sinclair has been released after a year at Ninian Park with Jones not confident in Sinclair’s fitness or contribution for next season’s prospective promotion push.
Trev was a commiteed and likable member of the Bluebirds squad and we wish him all the best.

What a legend, wouldn’t have him back at QPR I don’t think. Bit of a crock.
Could still do a job for someone, but wages and fitness are the problems
Has had a good career, I remember him doing well at the world cup in 2002.
a shame that his last contribution was to whack a good chance for a cross over David James and out in the last few minutes of a cup final!!!
I have heard Leeds are interested in signing him has anyone else heard this?
