Having been rejected by Cardiff City, former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler has decided to cut his losses and accept a 3 month pay-as-you-play deal with Blackburn Rovers.
The striker had received a years offer from the Bluebirds, but decided to take up an option of a trial with Paul Ince’s Rovers. After only receiving a short term offer, Fowler contacted Cardiff about a return but was politely told to forget it. A move to Norway stalled over wage demands leaving Fowler short of options and he will find it difficult at Ewood Park.
This is little loss to Cardiff City, Robbie burnt his bridges here and upset a few people with his treatment of the club and fans. We now have McCormack, Bothroyd, Johnson and Paul Parry is attack – all of whom can move freely!
