Cardiff City Duo On Disciplinary Tightrope

Cardiff City have two players in particular who will need to be careful during the hot-headed atmosphere at Ninian Prk this weekend when Swansea City come calling. With McPhail being dismissed twice, as well as Leon Britton being sent off – this game seems to evoke high tempers between the players – A total of TWELVE bookings and THREE red cards is pretty high over the course of two games!

Two key players for the Bluebirds are also just one caution away from picking up an automatic ban and will be desperately hoping not to miss any of our crucial run-in. Roger Johnson is arguably our most influential figure and is surely one of the top defenders in the division. He has collected 4 yellow cards having considerably improved his record this season.

Gavin ‘The Enforcer’ Rae is the other player needing to keep a cool head on Sunday with the Scots midfielder also sitting one yellow card away from a match on the sidelines.

The game is certain to see tensions running at their maximum and whilst we want to see our players being determined and committed there are plenty of points on offer yet this season and we could do without suspensions to any of our squad.

Shame on who? I saw the kid excorted out of the ground in cuffs, the club has already banned him for life and are assisting the police in pressing charges. How do you propose stopping him getting in?
