‘Barnsley had a lot of the ball in the second-half but didn’t do us any damage. It was frustrating watching on the touchline, but maybe because of the changes I had to make it disrupted our rhythm a little bit.’

‘At half-time there was a lot of concern for Kevin in the dressing room and the fact that we lost two full-backs through injury caused us more than a little disruption but we have come away with a clean sheet and the points.’

‘But I thought the lads did brilliant. It’s another three points and hopefully we’re back on that track again.’

Bansley manager Simon Davey was born and brought up in Swansea so was bitterly disappointed to get nothinbg from the game:

‘Obviously I’m disappointed with the result. We gave two silly goals away but there were positives to take with us to the next game. The second-half was performance was a lot better. We had chances but couldn’t convert – and that’s disappointing.’
