Cardiff City are in good shape for the trip to St Andrews with the entire squad fit and ready although the likes of Tony Capaldi and Riccy Scimeca are severely lacking in match fitness and are unlikely to feature.

Gabor Gyepes has sat out some of training this week in a bid to recover from a back problem but is likely to be fit and keep former Birmingham man Darren Purse on the sidelines.

Ledley and Rae will keep their central partnership meaning Parry, Whittingham and new boy Chris Burke will compete for the wide positions.

Birmingham City are unable to call upon Scottish International James McFadden and also have doubts over fellow strikers Marcus Bent (thigh) and Kevin Phillips (hip) meaning former Bluebird Cameron Jerome is likely to feature.

New loan signings Hameur Bouazza, Scott Sinclair and Lee Bowyer could all feature in a new look Blues midfield but Bowyer looks likely to start on the bench.
