VitalCardiff City took time out this week to speak to an avid Wolverhampton Wanderers fan ahead of Wednesday’s crunch game. Thanks to Stuart over at Vital Wolves for his answers.

Are you happy with your departures / signings ?

For the most part, yes. Elliot, Jarvis and Easwood were good buys, but I think it was a crime to let McIndoe go to Bristol City. Maybe the defence could have been strengthened more, but we’ve looked pretty solid since JC (Jody Craddock) came back from his loan.

A good start, satisfied so far?

Pretty much where I’d like us to be at the moment. In touch with the top 2, but playing to our full potential yet. I dont have to point out to you guys that streaking ahead early season doesnt mean you ll be there at the end of the campaign.

Aspirations for this season?

Promotion. Nothing else.

Wolves player to watch, how will they hurt us?

Michael Kightly. It gets a bit boring saying that most weeks, but it tends to be true most weeks. Stop the ball getting to kights and dont let him run at defenders is not a bad tactic, although we now have other viable options than Stephen Ward on the left which should give us more than the one option. Watch out for lightening breaks, mazey runs, and thunderous shots.

If you could have one Cardiff player on a free, who and why?

Tony Capaldi. Classy natural left footrer, which is not easy to find these days

Prediction for the game?

I never make predictions, and I never will 😉

Thanks again to Stuart, and we look forward to getting back to winning ways.
