Plenty More To Come From Resurgent Cardiff

Cardiff City have been quietly effective so far this season, and while no fan, coach or pundit would claim we are playing especially well – we climbed to the dizzy heights of 4th place after Saturdays win against Charlton Athletic.

In fact, Cardiff City fans remain slightly frustrated with our form! Games against Norwich City stand outt after throwing away an almost certain victory and a 2 goal lead with just minutes to go. Against Coventry City, we gave ourselves a hard final few minutes after switching off allowing Scott Dann to score.

However, its difficult to complain with our position. We appear to have finally found a goalscorer to rival Chopra with Ross McCormack in impressive form. We have drawn a few too many games, but have only lost once in the league all season – that to promotion favourites Birmingham City!

Manager Dave Jones told BBC Wales:

‘We are building and maturing as a team, I still don’t think we are firing on all cylinders and there is more to come from us.’

‘If we keep believing and working at it and cut out the sloppiness, we will win more than we don’t.’

City travel to Watford tonight looking to keep the momentum going and continue picking up points. Another clean sheet wouldn’t go amiss too!
