Cardiff City manager Dave JOnes was furious with the match officials launching a tirade of criticisms over dodgy sendings off, missing fouls on our players and failure to award a penalty. He told the Wales on Sunday:
“It`s difficult when you have a referee who doesn`t really know the game, We talk about respect in football, but there is none. He has no respect for my players.”
“They are a law unto themselves. When it comes to the referee and his assistants somebody should take a look and ask if they are good enough.”
QPR manager Gareth Ainsworth also questioned the referee’s decision-making:
“It was harsh and I have said that to both Dave Jones and Purse.”
“Gavin came up with a fantastic header for us. We’ll take the three points and we are well in touch with the top six.”
