Cardiff City are sweating on the fitness of Paul Parry ahead of the trip to face Hull City. Parry has been in good form and is a creative outlet on the right, however he was replaced at half time in the 0-0 draw with Leicester City after falling awkwardly on his ankle. Peter Whittingham replaced Parry that day, but if unfit Trevor Sinclair is more likely to win a recall.
Cardiff have one enforced change, with Glenn Loovens suspended after picking up 5 bookings, Roger Johnson will step in.
Kevin McNaughton is back to 100% after an ankle knock in training, he may replace Tony Capaldi or Chris Gunter. Joe Ledley is also fit despite suffering a tight hamstring after a gruelling recent schedule.
It is thought the game will come just too soon for Robbie Fowler, recently returned to full training after a hip operation, but short on match fitness.
Riccy Scimeca is still out with his long-standing groin problem.
For Hull City, midfielder Bryan Hughes is struggling with Richard Garcia ready to replace him.
Henrik Pederson (knee) and Nicky Barmby are both out, while another ex-Premiership star Jay Jay Okocha is used mainly from the substitutes bench by the Tigers.
Caleb Folan and Ryan France have both recovered from injury and played in a recent reserve game for Hull City, both are hoping to return to the squad.
Veteran warhorse Dean Windass will continue in attack and will prove a handful for Purse / Johnson.
