Cardiff City goalkeeper Peter Enckelman has fitted seamlessly into the Bluebirds side since his loan switch from Blackburn Rovers.

The move has coincided with good Cardiff City form and we have looked defensively sound since the Finn’s arrival.

Enckelman is currently contracted to Blackburn Rovers, but is unlikely to be offered a new deal by Mark Hughes. Already behind Brad Friedel and Jason Brown, Rovers are actively searching for another goalkeeping arrival – seemingly paving the way for Enckelman’s exit.

He told the Cardiff Post:

‘My agent deals with everything away from playing and training, When something comes up, whether it is here at Cardiff City or anywhere else he will let me know.’

“I am happy playing for Cardiff and there is so much to play for. We cannot even think about the FA Cup final now, let alone after that.’

Encleman was reluctant to speak much of his future, with plenty of work left to be done this season. However, his comments suggest he would be open to Cardiff interest and would be willing to consider a permanent move.
