Cardiff City striker Robbie Fowler is set to fly to America for FURTHER work on his troublesome hip injury.

Fowler is yet to shine for the Bluebirds since his arrival from Liverpool in the cinema, however, his early form was inhibited by a restrictive hip injury.

After a lay-off, Fowler flew to Germany for curative work, but after numerous injections – it seems the problem was still not solved.

Fowler is now sidelined with an ankle injury and the Cardiff City
manager and mdical staff have opted to synchronise the recovery times.

The latest treatment is said to be ‘minor’ and involves keyhole surgery, to be performed by specialists in Colorado. High expectations have been placed on the former great, but we’ve seen little reward yet on his wages and with half the season already lapsed, Fowler’s signing can at best be described as disappointing.

We’d love to have a fully fit and firing Robbie Fowler in the side, hoepfully we’ll get that for the final third of the season.
