The Cardiff City squad yesterday set off for a pre-season training camp in Portugal as part of their preparation for the new stadium.
The Bluebirds have set up camp close to Lisbon and will stay for a week long preparative trip.
Whilst there, the Bluebirds will participate in 2 matches at the impressive Portuguese National Football Stadium.
They will face a Portuguese select XI on Wednesday before playing local outfit Vitoria de Setubal on the Saturday before heading back to the U.K..
Cardiff’s Cypriot Triallist Constantinos Charalambides won a place on the tour after impressing in training and in the friendly defeat to Carmarthen Town, he joins up with the squad and looks to earn a permanent deal.
