Cardiff City enjoyed a rollercoaster of a season, showing fantastic form at the start of the year to open up a good size lead, but collapsing in the latter half and showing relegation form.

In the end, the Bluebirds finished in a comfortable mid-table position, but may will be disappointed after such a great star – how can they fade so badly?!?

Several players stood out, most notably Michael Chopra with 22 goals. Kevin McNaughton and Roger johnson both adapted brilliantly at their new club whilst some players produced their best form for years, Neil Alexander and Paul Parry being examples.

A VitalCardiff Poll is now open on the homepage (or on the right hand side of your screen now) where fans can vote for their player of the season.

There’s plenty of choice, we didnt have a big squad to start with but the only players who missed the list are those who player too few games e.g. Willo Flood or Kevin Campbell.

The results of the poll will be announced next week.
