Cardiff City are interested in securing the services of Yeovil Town midfielder Aaron Davies according to The Times.

The Welshman from Cardiff has enjoyed a good season and produced a marvellous performance to help his side reach the play-off final for Coca-Cola league 1. Davies scored twice in a thrilling 5-2 win for the Glovers over Nottingham Forest and has aparrently alerted the interest of his hometown club.

Cardiff City are in the market for a couple of midfielders and Davies’ great streght is his dribbling. He has a rare ability to move at pace with the ball and is capable of beating players.

Yeovil may yet be in the Championship next season if they beat Blackpool and would not want to lose one of their rising stars.
