Cardiff City host Premiership Arsenal on Sunday hoping for an FA Cup upset. Ninian Park will be full to bursting for the game with officials, players and fans of the Bluebirds optimistic of their chances.

One other talking point about the match is the potential return of teenage sensation Aaron Ramsey to his former club. One of the hottest prospects in football, Rambo was at the centre of a £5m ‘tug-of-war’ over the summer before eventually signing for the Gunners.

With midfield playmaker Cesc Fabregas ruled out through injury, Ramsey could well play a part and the Bluebirds fans and players will be wary of his threat.

Cardiff City stand-in captain Joe Ledley is looking forward to the game and is relishing the prospect of facing up to his former team-mate. Joe told the Western Mail:

“We are all really looking forward to it and hopefully we can get the win.”

“If Aaron is playing and I`m playing, then it will be great.”

“You always look forward to seeing people you know in the game and it is going to be a good battle.”

It will be fascinating to see two future stars of Welsh football squaring up in the middle of the park – an area sure to be key to the final outcome. Ledley has been in superb form recently and will strive to repeat that against Arsenal.
