Cardiff City’s Bellamy Named In Team-Of-The-Week

Cardiff City forward Craig Bellamy has been named in the Championship team-of-the-week follwoing his emphatic curled effort that saw the Bluebirds beat Swansea City 1-0 on Sunday.

Bellamy was busy throughout, but was well marshalled by Swans’ right back Angel Rangel. He did win a number of corners, and was a threat on occasions but it was his 25 yard strike, a sublime effort out of nothing, that will be remembered.

Former Bluebird Darren Purse was also named in the team following his transfer from Sheffield Wednesday to Millwall.
