Cardiff City midfielder Joe Ledley is loving his time at Cardiff City and admits he is ‘buzzing’ at the prospect of the cup final.

Ledley’s words will be a breath of fresh air to Bluebirds fans who have watched young starlets leave the club in the likes of Delaney, Gabbidon, Collins, Earnshaw and more recently Chris Gunter.

Ledley has the potential to go further than any of those, but it seems the Fairwater-born midfielder is simply enjoying playing for the club he supports. It seems it was Ledley himself who turned down the chance to move to Wolves in January. Of course, a Premiership club would be far more attractive but the fans would be desperately disappointed to see him leave.

Ledley was an emotional figure on the Wembley pitch after the semi-final win. In fact, he alone was clapping along with Men Of Harlech.

‘It’s a brilliant time to be playing for the Bluebirds. We are in the FA Cup final and that’s a great achievement by all the lads.’

‘I can’t think of anything better than being a Cardiff player right now – the whole city is buzzing with excitement.’
