Cardiff City have announced the signing of Slovenia’s striker Etien Velikonja on a four year contract. The 23 year old striker has agreed terms, and will complete the move from NK Maribor later this month – subject to a medical.
Malky Mackay was delighted with the signing and revealed he had been tracking Velikonja for some time.
Once again, this signing has taken fans by surprise with no media reports linking us with the player. This, like the Jordon Mutch deal, is very welcome to most fans and though little is known about our new recruit, his Internation pedigree is certainly promising.
