Cardiff City’s out-of-favour defender Migiel Comminges has been ruled out until the end of the season meaning the Guadeloupian International has probably played his last game for the Bluebirds.

Comminges was a free transfer signing from Swindon Town, but has failed to establish himself in the first team. He made a number of appearances last season, but was more often a subsitute and did not make a significant impression amid some poor form, consistency and disciplinary problems.

This season, he has not featured for the first team and has struggled with a number of niggly injuries. Most recently, he has needed an operation on his cruciate ligament meaning a prolonged spell on the sidelines and Comminges will now miss the rest of the season.
