Cardiff City & Dundee Utd Agree Fee For Flood Loan

Cardiff City have accepted a loan bid from Dundee United who wish to take the player on another long term loan to Tannadice.


Flood enjoyed a successful season in the SPL last year with Dundee United impressing. Flood played a key part in the success and both parties wanted to make the move permanent. However, the transfer fee reamined a stunbling block with Cardiff City inisiting on recouping the transfer fee paidd out to Manchester City.


Instead, a fee was agreed for Flood to make another season-long loan and personal terms were quickly agreed. The move is not ideal for either club or the player himself but another good season would surely see Flood move on or establish himself in Cardiff City’s first team.
