Cardiff City could be tempted into a deal with Everton for Welsh International Joe Ledley with the Toffees looking to loan out Nigerian forward Victor Anichebe to the Bluebirds.
Dave Jones is a known admirer of Anichebe, who has also caught the attention of a number of clubs in his few appearances for Everton. However, he has spent a good deal of the current season out injured and David Moyes will look to strengthen his attacking line-up even with the likes of Louis Saha set to return.
Everton are keen on Cardiff City’s Joe Ledley but do not have huge transfer fees to play with. As such, a cash up-front deal with Anichebe on a season’s loan could persuade the Bluebirds to part with their most valuable asset.
Stoke City and Fulham are also strongly linked with Ledley.
