Both Cardiff City and Barnsley have sold the full allocation of FA Cup semi-final tickets for next week’s Wembley showdown.

Cardiff completed their sales on Sunday when the prized tickets went on sale to holders of ticket stubs from the recent 1-0 win over Hull City. The last of the 33000 tickets were snapped up around lunchtime yesterday after numerous fans queued through the night.

Barnsley have also sold their full share and both clubs have requested further tickets from Wembley. A number of tickets are held both for corporate uses but without the glamour of any ‘top four’ sides left in the competion, interest will be low from the non-football faithful.
