Right-back Rhys Weston has recovered from the leg injury which forced him off against the Foxes.

Winger Dyer completed a free transfer from West Brom on Friday, while striker Powel made a £125,000 switch from Dutch outfit Den Bosch last week, both look set to make their debuts against the Bluebirds tonight.

Jodie Morris is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow of the season against Wolves last week.

Defender Mark Phillips (groin), wide man Josh Simpson (knee) and strikers Carl Asaba (back) and Barry Hayles (knee) are all out.
