Cardiff City right winger Malvin Kamara has moved to Port Vale until the end of the season. The midfielder joined Cardiff on a free transfer after being released by MK Dons during the summer, he has made several starts and numerous substitute appearances for the Bluebirds and scored a well taked goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers this season.
Kamara moves out after the arrivals of Peter Whittingham for Aston Villa and the loan capture of midfielder James Simmonds from Chelsea. Willo Flood, Joe Ledley and Paul Parry will provide the competition for the wide berths.
Kamara is an energetic and confident player, always willing to take on his man. A strong presence he goes past players with pace and bullish aggression but is certainly effective and did a job for Cardiff City when called upon.
Kamara had been sidelined with a knee injury since before Christmas but is now raring to go again and with City strengthening in midfield, the 23 year old was unlikely to gain much match time and a loan move was lined up for him but Port Vale instead opted to take the striker on a full contract until July 2007.

‘The age I am at, it is important to be playing rather than watching on a Saturday. If I can’t get games here I am going to have to get them elsewhere. I’m just raring to go and play again!’
