Cardiff’s Championship season continued with yet another draw at Ewood Park against Blackburn on Tuesday.

An early Cardiff goal from Mason looked as though it would give the Bluebirds a first league win of the campaign, however Blackburn captain Hanley popped up with two-minutes to play to draw Rovers level.

This one-one, which maintained the unbeaten start to the 2015/16 season for the Bluebirds, also meant Cardiff, I think broke or at least equalled, a record of games unbeaten against Blackburn stretching back more than 50-years!

It couldn’t have been a better start for Cardiff with Mason (5) getting in from a pass from Peltier, who was at fault for a goal against QPR on Saturday, to lift the ball over Blackburn ‘keeper Raya to make it one-nil to the Bluebirds on five-minutes.

Marshall, restored to the Cardiff first-team ahead of Moore after suspension, marked his return with a couple of first half saved but when he was beaten by a Koita header the striker was ruled offside.

Ralls looked to extend the Cardiff lead before Blackburn threatened to draw level with former Aston Villa striker Delfouneso having and effort deflected against Marshall’s bar.

With the Bluebirds failing to clear the danger Blackburn got the goal they had threatened when Hanley (88) calmly finished past the Scottish international to see the game end in a draw, which might have been different but for a goal line clearance by Jones doing defensive work.
