Cardiff secured a one-nil win over Middlesbrough in the Championship on Tuesday, however this wasn’t enough to move the Bluebirds into the top six but leave us just a point outside.

It was left late, very late, and it wasn’t even a Cardiff player scoring it with the Bluebirds causing a setback to promotion favourites Middlesbrough with Marshall to thank with the ‘keeper making a couple of fine saves before this.

A draw was looking on, another Cardiff draw, until Mason saw his point blank effort kept out by Middlesbrough ‘keeper Konstantopoulos, which bounced off Boro defender Friend and into the back of the net for a winner four-minutes from time.
