Cardiff were beaten 3-1 by Aston Villa in the Championship on Saturday.

Aston Villa’s improvement under Steve Bruce continued as Cardiff became the latest side beaten since his appointment, this win extending the Villa run to seven games as the Bluebirds remain in relegation trouble.
