Cardiff City target Robbie Fowler has rejected the offer from Syndney FC and looks closer than ever to signing a deal with the Bluebirds.
The former Liverpool favourite recieved 8 firm contract offers including that from Australia and also from the USA. It appears Fowler thought that moving down under would be too big a move for him and his family.
Cardiff City and Leicester City have both tabled serious offers to the player and it looks likely that one of those will claim his signiture unless a late bid comes in from a Premiership side.
No decision is expected imminently but Cardiff would love to know one way or the other is Fowler will move to South Wales.
