Robbie & Jimmy In Reserves Action

Cardiff City new-boys and experienced strikers Robbie Fowler and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will both make an appearance in a reserve team friendly at Hereford United tomorrow.

Neither player has made a first team appearance fro the Bluebirds as yet. Fowler played 20 minutes of a friendly against FC Twente before limping off so neither player has any real match practise under their belts before this weekend’s home game against Coventry City where both could be involved if fit enough.

The friendly is to be played ‘behind closed doors’ so the first time to possibly see Hasselbaink in a City shirt will be at the weekend where another large crowd is expected.

Needless to say, both players will hope for a decent run-around and would love to get on the scoresheet even if it is just against Hereford United.

its good to see jimmy and robbie both starting up front together, even tho its a reseave game they will have a tough challenge because in this league they will have to work for the ball which will get them used to it
