Relegation No Issue For Cardiff Fans

Cardiff City fans are not the most optimistic bunch in the world, and have voiced their concerns over poor form this season.

After slipping alarmingly down the table, and amid threats of administration off the pitch, fears were raised as to the Championship status as we stopped winning games.

However, a recent poll on this website, suggested by member jamie_r, asked whether relegation was realistic for the Bluebirds this season:

Only With -10 Points (60%)
No Chance (28%)
Yes (6%)
Too Early To Tell (6%)

The court case has been postponed until March, aiding our financial worries and staving off the threat of administration.

Most fans believed that Cardiff would finish safely, and only a 10 point deduction (for administration) would see them relegated. That’s still a poor return, but reflected the strength of feeling in South Wales about recent events.

The recent resurgence will have helped optimism, and we are only 7 points from the play-offs. The improved form will count for little if we suffer another slump and we must continue improveing and working our way up the table.
