Cardiff’s pre season plans looks set to be rejigged after our game against Hereford was called off due to Elf & Safety reasons.

We were due to travel to Edgar Street on Saturday July 12 for a 3pm kick off but following a meeting between Herefordshire Council, the club and the emergency services, the game will no longer be going ahead because the relevant health and safety checks have now been made.

Marc Willimont, head of development, management and environmental health told the Hereford Times of the decision.

‘You need annual checks and renewals and until we have the correct certification the local authority will not allow these fixtures to go ahead.’

Hereford have also seen this bring to an end a charity fixture they had planned.

Makes sense, can’t do anything in life without a certificate can you.

I haven’t got one, so I guess I better…
