Cardiff?s Darren Purse is pleased that the Bluebirds managed to hand onto striker Cameron Jerome during the January transfer window.
Cardiff rated the striker at £3.5 million which kept the vultures away, now Purse reckons that the opposition will be up against one of the most potent strike forces in the division when they face Jerome and new signing Steve Thompson.
‘Cameron is an excellent prospect and has linked up well with Steve Thompson,’ Purse said.
‘We definitely now have one the best partnerships in the Championship. We possess a real threat up front and no defender in this league will look forward to taking on those two.’
