Cardiff City`s hopes of a full house rocking the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday have been dealt a blow after Scunthorpe United have revealed that a meagre 400 tickets have been sold for the game.

This is an incredibly low number for a newly promoted club on the first day of the season. Cardiff City are hardly one of the glamour clubs of the Championship, and the trip is a lengthy one but the Iron should rightly be disappointed with their support!

Cardiff City have sold a record number of season tickets, while matchday tickets are also limited in most sections of the ground. For many people this will be their first visit to the stadium, and will provide the first real test of the atmosphere we can expect in our new home.
