Cardiff City winger Paul Parry has certainly taken his time, almost a week in fact, mulling over a proposed £300k move to fellow Championship club Preston North End. It seems now that he has decided on a move North and will formally sign a contract this afternoon.
Parry has a year remaining on his current Bluebirds deal and the lure of a 3 year contract surely helped persuade him. Preston are a good side and are expected to be challenging for play-offs again this year making the deal a good one for the Welsh winger.
Parry is City’s longest serving player but appeared to lose confidence and form last year prompting many to suggest he could benefit from a new club. A £75k buy from Hereford United, Parry has been a good club player for Cardiff and provided some memorable moments.

good luck paul
2007/8 will remain your best season
It will be tough to get someone in with his quality. I’m not sure if he’d ever have reached top form again for us, but have no doubt he’ll be a good signing for PNE
