Cardiff City beat Ipswich Town on the weekend to record only their second win at home this season, a disastrous record stretching back to last March hampering the Bluebirds’ progress.

It was a strange match with Cardiff’s terrible home form matched only by Ipswich’s away record – one of the worst in the league.

It made for an interesting game, and it was under-fire Cardiff City manager Dave Jones who was victorious.

A poll before the game on this website invited predictions on a game which could easily have gone either way. However, optimism won through (just) but despite the statistics, a vast majority thought there would be a winner rather than a drawn game.

The fans did well, helped by the inclusion of the impressive Chris Gunter and it was a good result, much needed by manager, players and fans alike.

Now is the time to push on…..

Result Against Ipswich Town ?
