The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Cardiff City and Newcastle United this Friday.

Cardiff City host Newcastle United on Friday April 28 for the game at the Cardiff City Stadium and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Linesmen: Adrian Holmes and David Bryan
Fourth Official: Andy Davies

Match Day referee Scott has officiated 26 games in 2016/17, with a return of 91 yellow cards and four red cards.

His highest card count this season was in the Luton Town and Wycombe Wanderers game where he showed six yellow cards. He also showed six in the game between Bristol City and Burton Albion.

He took in 20 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 79 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the game between Leeds United and Huddersfield Town in March with eight yellow cards being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
