Cardiff City ground Ninian Park will see International football in it’s final season in existance after the decision to host Wales U21’s crunch match against England in Cardiff.

The match will be played on the 10th October (first leg) as the Welsh youngsters bid to represent their country in a major tournament for the first time since the 1950s.

The deal also helps mend relations between the club and the FAW after frosty exchanges between Dave Jones and John Toshack in the wake of Paul Parry’s International retirement.

Cardiff City players Joe Ledley and Darcy Blake could well be involved while some familiar former players such as Aaron Ramsey and Chris Gunter may also get another run out at Ninian Park.
