Cardiff City have an early chance to re-find their form when they travel to Coventry City tomorrow for a midweek Championship game.

The Sky Blues however, have today sacked their manager Iain Dowie after a poor series of results has seen them slump towards the relegation zone whilst they were beaten by lowly Preston North End over the weekend.

Frankie Bunn and John Harbin have taken temporary charge of CCFC as they look to appoint a new manager.

Whenever teams part company with the manager, they often seem to go through a period of improved form. In that respect, Dowie’s sacking has come at a bad time for Cardiff City. However, the Bluebirds must look to take advantage of a managerlesss side in poor form and with low confidence.

team will be on a down and having a run of bad results should hopefully mean 3 points. but it doesnt mean they will just give us them, we need to earn it
