At Paul Trollope’s pre Norwich City press conference, the head coach confirmed Sean Morrison as our new club captain.

Moving to Cardiff back in August 2014, he has made 78 appearances for the club in defence so far, returning nine goals, and he has of course worn the armband on a number of occasions previously filling in, but Trollope confirmed yesterday that he would now wear it on a permanent basis.

Speaking to the Official Site Trollope explained.

‘Sean is going to be the skipper on and off the pitch. He has grown in stature since coming on the scene as a young centre-half. He has shown really good leadership qualities both on and off the pitch, he is well respected within the group and has shown a real hunger and desire.’
