McNaughton Signs New Deal?

I’m led to believe that it’s being reported by Sky that defender Kevin McNaughton has secured himself a new contract at the club.

Brief reports so far confirmed he is out of contract in the summer, and with a September loan switch agreed by former manager Malky Mackay to Bolton Wanderers it looked like the 31 year old’s days at the club were numbered.

However, following the expiry of that loan spell at the end of December, McNaughton returned and has played in six fixtures for us since the turn of 1014 and very much looks a part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans.

There is no confirmation from the official site yet, but no doubt we’ll hear a bit more about this shortly.
