Cardiff City have accepted two bids this afternoon for highly sought after young star Aaron Ramsey. Manchester United are known to be one of the teams after a formal offer of £4.5 was submitted, the other is thought to be Liverpool who have increased a previous offer rejected by the Bluebirds.

Neither club has agreed terms with Rambo, but that should be a formality and he is almost certain to be moving on. He was happy to stay, and could well get to remain at Ninian Park for another season as part of the loan agreement.

Whatever your Cardiff City feelings on the subject, although disappointing to see such a talent leave but what an opportunity for the player – it’s simply fantastic to see local talent impressing in this way and we look forward to watching him progress.

With all the interest in Ramsey, It’s very disappointing that we’ve accepted bids so soon, and so low. Manchester united, arsenal and Liverpool could all afford a great deal more and would have paid it – so why didnt we ask? Crazy.

As a Spurs fan, and having seen Ramsey play, I would start the bidding at £8m.

Dave Jones will do all he can to make sure Rambo won’t go to Liverpool, the end of the day he’s stil a bitter Evertonian.

Depends what future incentives there are, plus what loan/permanent signings could be coming the other way. Did anyone really expect anything different?

i think the other team are actually arsenal – bbc understands they are anyway. lets hope fergie signs him up soon!

if rambo wants to stay he doesnt have to accept the contract from any of these teams, i personally thinks dave jones will sit down with him and then he might reject their offers, but its all hope

Would you turn down more money than you’ve ever had, the chance to play alongside the best in the world and fulfil your childhood dream….?!?!

  • bluebird04 says:

yea i would take up the oppourtunity, but does he really expect to play, can you see him playing instead of, nani, anderson, carrick, scholes, giggs or ronaldo,no, or gerrard, alonso, he wont take their place, and if he knows it he will stick with cardiff

And in the end neither of them got him. I personally think he would have been better off at Everton where he would have more chance of first team football.
