Cardiff’s Cameron Jerome has had to be withdrawn from the England U-21 League squad due take on Italy’s equivalent.

Jerome made the final squad but on Saturday he was taken off with a groin injury whilst playing in the game against Peter Taylor’s Hull City.

Jerome had already shown Taylor what he could do by scoring what proved to be the winning goal in the 22nd minute of an entertaining match.

Word is, he should be fit for the trip to Watford at the weekend.
