Cardiff City and Sheffield United looked to be heading into the break at 0-0 before an aboslutely incredible couple of minutes immediately before the break.

In dramatic scenes, Cardiff City took the lead when the ball fortuitously broke to Bothroyd who scored only for the assistant to flag for offside. Thankfully the referee over-ruled the incorrect flag (it was from a Sheffield player).

Immediately from the restart, Cardiff City conceeded a truly awful goal as a lofted pass was missed by Hudson and Keith Treacy nipped in to equalise as the Bluebirds players and fans were still celebrating the opener.

That was bizarre enough but Cardiff City immeditely went up the Blades end with Adam Matthews crossing only for Chris Morgan to blatantly foul Bothroyd – penalty. Peter Whittingham scored for his 7th goal in 6 games to cap an absoulutely incredible three minutes.

Of course, that’s not the end of the drama – as Sheffield United (almost predictably) equalised courtesy of a Darius Henderson header. FOUR goals in FOUR minutes.

Unbelievable – only Cardiff City!!!
