Former Cardiff City striker Matt Green has ended his brief stay with the Bluebirds after agreeing a deal with Torquay United.
The pacy youngster joined from Newport County, and made a handful of substitute appearances for Cardiff. This season he did not get a look despite a severe lack of pace in attack and spent much of the season on loan, scoring 10 goals for Oxford United.
The U’s tried to secure a permanent move but Green opted to join Torquay instead and becomes one of a long list of strikers signed by Dave Jones who have contributed next to nothing. Glombard, Byrne, Redan to name but a few!
