Cardiff City have added another triallist to their squad at the pre-season training camp in Portugal.

Greek goalkeeper Kleopas Giannou has linked up with the Bluebirds and is attempting to win a permanent contract in South Wales.

The former Olympiakos goalkeeper is the second triallist who played in Greece last year and would have been recommended to Cardiff via Dave Jones’ network of European scouts.

Giannou, 25, is set to play a half in the game against Portugal Select XI to be played on Wednesday where he will hope to impress.

Aside from his goalkeeping exploits, Giannou is already a millionnaire having won 1 million Euros on the lottery.
