Cardiff City goalkeeper David Forde has returned to the Bluebirds after a loan spell with Luton Town.
Forde played in 6 games during his 1 month loan spell, conceeding 7 goals although he did keep a clean sheet against a Sunderland attack including Michael Chopra, Anthony Stokes and Dwight Yorke in a 3-0 surprise win for the Hatters.
Forde now returns to Ninian Park to try and oust Michael Oakes from the number 1 jersey. Oakes suceeded Ross Turnbull, who has disappointed so far on loan from Middlesborough. Oakes replaced him for the Preston game and is expected to retain his shirt for tonight’s Carling Cup tie against West Brom.
