Feeney Ends Cardiff City Hell By Joining Owls

Cardiff City striker Warren feeney has been sent out on loan for the umpteenth time during his torrid spell in South Wales after joining Sheffield Wednesday. The move is initially on loan, but will be best for CCFC and the player if the move is made permanent in January as expected.

The Northern ireland International joined from Luton Town, but has barely featured since and never scored a league goal for the Bluebirds. He saw a move to Swansea City, and Leeds United fall through due to untimely injuries while a season-long loan to Dundee United proved fruitful, but finances prevented a permanent switch.

Feeney never really hit is off with Cardiff City, but acted the commsumate professional at all times. He wasn’t content to pick up a wage for nothing, always gave 100% and was fair and sensible in his comments to the media. He now joins former captain Darren Purse at Sheffield Wednesday looking to kickstart his club career.

Best of luck Warren Feeney.
