Well it’s been a long time coming, but Cardiff City have now officially confirmed what we all knew – Fabio Da Silva and Wilfried Zaha have now completed their moves from Manchester United.

He joins us for an undisclosed fee and has been handed the No 35 shirt.

The 23 year old has been training with us, and he goes straight into contention for the game this weekend against Norwich City.

Speaking to the Official Site following his move, he explained that he was exciting and delighted to have secured his move to Cardiff.

‘I know this is the right move for me. I spoke a lot to the manager about coming in and I know that I can help us move up the division.’

Winger Zaha has also joined the club, but his move is obviously a loan deal until the end of the season.

He has been handed the No 36 shirt and the 21 year old also goes straight into contention for the Norwich game.

‘I’ve had a chance to get to know the place and meet people at the training ground. It’s great to be here. I think I’ll be able to contribute something to the team. I haven’t seen much of Cardiff, but what I have seen has shown me that we’re capable of playing good football.’

Welcome on board both!
